Hi Ho All, Still stoked to be a super light member. Say hello to Max, DB and Rick B. Any time any of the BSA are down in my part of the world they are welcome to come and share my house and boards the way Vincent H did with me all those years ago. Long live color blindness !!!!!

I am improving my swimming endurance so that I can begin surfing. I already go kayaking. I had made previous plans for Sept 20, 09 but I will try to make it to your event also. The mere existence of this organization is inspirational.

what a glorious slice of summer this has been. with the surf vaguely adequate and the weather sunny and warm, the only ill spot was missing plaskett creek for the 2nd year running. hope you all are having a tremendous time down/up there this weekend and all my best to you and your families. suyen mosley www.csurfnoir.com

The first BSA was created in San Diego, CA in 1966. Just ask Harold Burt, Dana Point, CA; Dr. Albert Richardson, Dr. Elsworth Pryor, or attorney Diane Ritchey in San Diego. We rode long boards at all the breaks in the area.

I have been surfing for 35 years and making surfboards for 15 years. Today I am still amazed that there are so few African American's in the water. My view is, someone has to do it! Why not me? Thurston E. Sawyer AKA Brohuna surf.to/brohuna/ P.S NOW I sail my sail up and down the cost and I do not see any Black sail boat owners. What's up?
